The hot mix asphalt work will include pavement milling, full depth patching, wedge and level course, surface course and shoulder/driveway repairs on various county roads. The intent of the Owner is to patch, mill and resurface 0.40 mile of CR 100 East from US 33 to Decatur City Limits, and to wedge/level and resurface 1.0 mile of CR 750 North from CR 600 West to CR 700 West and 1.0 mile of CR 400 West from CR 950 South to SR 116. The projects will include full width/2'-4' wide patching/joint milling, HMA binder wedge and level, HMA surface mainline, and shoulder/drive repairs. All bidders must furnish with their bids a bid bond or a certified check equal to ten percent (10%) of their total bid. All bids must be completed on the Itemized Proposal Sheet (accompanying the written specifications) and attached to a completely executed Form 96 (State Board of Accounts) with financial statement. The contractor to whom the project is awarded will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and a performance, payment and material bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the bid price prior to commencing work. The contract documents, including specifications and plans of detailed nature, are on file with the Adams County Auditor and are available from the Adams County Highway Supervisor. The Adams County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
