Site work and addition to a municipal facility in Mount Airy, Maryland. Completed plans call for the addition of a 4,890-square-foot municipal facility.
The work consists of constructing a new brick and block building addition adjacent to the existing dewatering building including doors, roof, and ventilation, new lighting and electrical, mechanical, removing the existing paving and replacing per plans. A. The existing Mount Airy Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is located at 7245 Ridge Road, Mount Airy, Maryland 21771. B. The existing Sludge Dewatering Building is a brick building located between the Sludge Tanks and the Lime Tank. C. The extent of the work under this contract is to include the following work to construct a new building addition adjacent to the existing dewatering building. This will include the following: 1. Install Construct a new brick and block building addition adjacent to the existing dewatering building including doors, roof, and ventilation. 2. Furnish and install new lighting and electrical conduit. 3. Remove existing paving and replace per plan. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued. 12:00 PM at noon on May 21st is the last day/time for questions.
