The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, equipment, services and supervision necessary to Land Apply sewage sludge to permitted land or for the Transportation and Disposal of sewage sludge to permitted facilities located in Maryland or its neighboring States, with the Sewage Sludge Utilization Permits. The successful bidder must comply with all applicable State(s) and Federal Regulations including, but not limited to, COMAR Title 26, Chapter 6 Sewage Sludge Management, Environmental Protection Agency 40CFR, part 503 Standards for the Use or Disposal of Sewage Sludge, etc. Mar 3, 2025 - start of Contract Feb 5, 2025 - award of Contract There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project. However, the Contractor may contact the Town Engineer with any questions or to visit the premises. Inquiries concerning the scope and bidding documents or other technical questions shall be directed to the Town Engineer at 301-829-1424 (if automated phone system, select engineering). The Town of Mount Airy hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid, and to accept the Bid which, in the judgment of the Owner, is to its best interest.
