Site work for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

Performing the work on "Concord Community Park Irrigation Supply Line Project, City Project No. 2242" as follows: The work to be done in general consists of mobilization, traffic control, storm water pollution control, potholing of existing utilities, removal and disposal of asbestos cement pipe, open trench construction of PVC irrigation supply line, landscape restoration, aggregate base, hot mix asphalt placement, sidewalk, curb and gutter reconstruction, traffic striping, and all other work as specified in the Special Provisions and shown in the Drawings. The Contractor shall possess at least one of the following valid Contractor's licenses at the time the bids are opened: Class "A," General Engineering Contractor or Class "C-34," Pipeline Contractor. Further, only a contractor registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to bid on public works contracts in California shall be permitted to submit a bid. Furthermore, only subcontractors registered with the DIR to bid on public works contracts in California shall be permitted to perform work or labor or render service under subcontract to the subject contractor. The deadline for submitting questions about this project is 5:00 P.M. on Friday, May 21st, 2021. All bidders must purchase a Bid Package from BPXpress Reprographics in order to be considered responsive in any submitted bids. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope entitled "Concord Community Park Irrigation Supply Line Project, City Project No. 2242". Bids shall be dropped off using the mail slot at the entrance to Wing A. Contact the City Clerk at (925) 671-3495 for questions or assistance in dropping off bids. The estimated total construction cost for the project is approximately $500,000 (base bid + additive bid).
