Provide improvements to the Lakes District sewer system by replacing existing simplex and duplex grinder pump stations, replacing existing pump controls, and installing isolation valves on service laterals susceptible to flooding. MAJOR BID ITEMS Pressure Sewer System Improvements Replacement of 30 simplex grinder pump stations Replacement of 3 duplex grinder pump stations Work required for construction of the project includes stripping and stockpiling topsoil, excavation/grading, placing and compacting fill, replacing topsoil, seeding, mulching and erosion control, concrete work, installation of piping and valves, piping repairs, demolition and disposal of existing grinder pump station and controls, installation of grinder pump station equipment, bypass pumping, electrical work, restoration, all other appurtenances, and all other work associated with the pressure system improvements.
