Site work for a bridge / tunnel in High Prairie, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Bridge File 73393 (SW 29-74-17-W5M), 8 km west of High Prairie, on a local road. Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 2134 mm SPCSP culvert and replacement with a new 3050 mm x 31.7 m SPCSP culvert. The crossing is located on Range Road 175 over a Tributary to Iroquois Creek, 8 km west of High Prairie. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: traffic accommodation for bridge construction removal and disposal of the existing culvert excavation SPCSP supply and assembly backfill roadway work concrete end treatment supply and install heavy rock riprap (Class 1) supply and install erosion control barrier (straw rolls) supply and install erosion control barrier (silt fence) supply and install erosion control soil covering (Type C) supply and install Class1M rock ditch drains.
