In accordance with the Governor's directives, the County of Somerset offices are closed to the public, but still operational. The Somerset County Purchasing Division is maintaining Social Distancing; therefore, it is encouraged to Mail in your bid responses in a timely manner via USPS, UPS . If they must be hand-delivered, potential bidders may drop them off at the Main Entrance of the County's Administration Building, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, New Jersey 08876 and a Sheriff's Officer will contact the Purchasing Division to receive the responses. The intent of this contract is to repair, upgrade, reinforce, stabilize and rehabilitate building structures and facilities located within the Somerset County Park System as directed by the Engineer on an as needed basis. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract.
