This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Wall Township, New Jersey. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Service, repair, testing, and maintenance of water, storm and sanitary distribution and collection systems, including main break repair, service installations and replacements, hydrant installations and repair, valve replacement, and short water main extensions and replacements, sanitary and storm piping, and other miscellaneous related work for the Water Department in Wall Township in accordance with the requirements stipulated herein and all prevailing federal, state, and local safety and labor regulations. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis when authorized by the Water Department in writing. Emergency service may be required and shall be provided to the Water Department on a request basis. The contractor shall report to the site in need of emergency service within three (3) hours after notification from the Water Department. Notification from the Water Department will be via phone call (for emergency work) and a fax transmission/email of the work order for the service requested. A copy of the work order form is included in Appendix A. Contractor shall be required to maintain the proper bonds and insurance as specified herein. Guarantee workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year upon completion of the work on equipment repairs/ replacement. Each bid must be accompanied by an agreement to become surety, properly executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and which agreement shall be attached to the proposal. A bid bond is not required for this contract. The Township Committee of the Township of Wall reserves the right to reject all bids where the lowest bid is not accepted. The Township further reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and the right to reject any or all bids of deemed to be in the best interest of the Township to do so, and reserves the right to hold the bids and proposal guarantees of the three (3) lowest regular bidders for sixty (60) days before making an award of contract and each bidder agrees that (s)he will not withdraw his / her bid for that period of time.
