Renovation of a military facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. In general, the work consists of: Removal of existing ballasted EPDM roof membrane down to existing insulation; providing 1-inch polyisocyanurate insulation - loose-laid; providing 60-mil ballasted EPDM roof membrane; removing and salvaging sheet metal for re-installation, where indicated; performing select masonry repairs, where indicated. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
