Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Checks or money orders are to be payable to the Wayne County Commissioners. Bids are invited on the following: The work involves renovation of the basement area of the senior center, which includes construction of approximately 170 lineal feet of new walls including 7 doors; the removal and replacement of 1246 square feet of acoustical ceiling tiles and grid, the relocation of a walk in freezer and one gas water heater, electrical work which includes lighting and the installation of a 3 phase 130kw natural gas generator including transfer switch and two new sub-panels and the transfer of existing electrical circuits into the new panels. The sealed bid must be marked "EARL J SIMONS SENIOR CENTER RENOVA- TIONS." A certified check or bank draft payable to Wayne County, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Commissioners for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest Responsible bidder.
