The successful bidder shall be retained by the Owner to provide construction services through the duration of the project. The work is required to be completed prior to December 16, 2022 within a timely manner. Contractor shall pay Owner $895 for each day that expires after December 16, 2022 that the work is not complete. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid is required of all bidders. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract liability. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, reserving to the municipality the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities. The project primarily includes modifications and replacement of the stormwater conveyance system within the project area. 1. Project Details: The project will consist of: Installation of all new standard 24" x 48" Type "M" Storm Inlet Box and Frames with associated new HDPE Stormwater Pipe connections. Stabilization of eroded soil with new riprap outlet protection at pipe outlet. All pipe penetrations to concrete structures shall be completely sealed with cement grout. Concrete, pavement and asphalt curb restoration on all affected properties and roads as required. Sawcuts are required for all asphalt pavement\curb replacement. Vegetation restoration to include 4" minimum topsoil, seed and mulch. Area should be positively graded to account for future settling.
