Renovation of a municipal facility in Shishmaref, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
***This project has been cancelled in its entirety. Bids exceeded available funding. Construction of a heat recovery system for the city of Shishmaref. The system will transfer heat to the pump house, city office, and fire house. Work will include installing a supply and return arctic pipe to each facility, installing a heat exchanger, circulation pump, associated controls and appurtenances at each end user facility, connecting new heat recovery system to existing hydronic system at the pump house, installing new heating units at the city office and fire house, and upgrading the existing AVEC engine coolant system to accommodate heat recovery. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held for this project Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $500,000-$750,000. The Project has an expected substantial completion date of 15 November 2021 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
