Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
No Pre-Response Meeting Project Scope of Services/Procurement Requirements: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, and equipment to install and program pedestrian-activated flashing beacons (aka Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons), one on each side of West Main Street at the proposed crosswalk (crosswalk to be installed by others). Pedestrian-activated flashing beacons shall be MUTCD-compliant, solarpowered, and double-sided. Prior to ordering materials/equipment, Contractor shall submit shop drawings for the Town's review and approval. Contractor shall position flashing beacons at specific points designated by the Town. Omit sales tax from quote; Town will provide tax-exemption certificate for Contractor's use in this project. Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling police details if/as needed and for paying police detail invoices; Town will reimburse the Contractor for actual costs of police details if/as needed. Please note round poles are required for this project. Prevailing Wages are required. The award will go the lowest responsive, responsible Contractor. The awarded contractor will need to provide a 50% payment bond for this project. Thank you for your interest in this project.
