The Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority (WVSA) is requesting Bids for the construction of the SPRING RUN STREAM RESTORATION - CONTRACT NO. 2021-02, generally consisting of the construction of approximately 600 linear feet of stream restoration in Hanover Township, Luzerne County, PA. Bids shall be provided as total price. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of Bidder's maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and include forms, qualification statements, affidavits and certifications, as more particularly listed in the Bidding Documents. Bidder's attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum wages and salaries in accordance with provisions of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 and contained in the Bidding/Contract Documents, must be paid through the duration of this Project. The project is funded partly by a state grant with the remainder coming from PennVest funding and the WVSA stormwater fee. c. Design Firm - Borton Lawson Engineering, Inc. d. This project generally consists of restoration work on approximately 600 LF of stream (Spring Run) located in Hanover Township, Luzerne County, PA. The work will involve extensive excavation of legacy sediments and floodplains, plantings, and bank stabilization utilizing bioengineering materials.
