Site work for a water / sewer project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Public Improvement, upon which quotes are requested, generally consists of raising right of way grade and two driveways in order to improve drainage, located at 8th Street SW between 21st Avenue and 22nd Avenue. Bids shall be on a Unit Price basis. A pre-Bid conference has not been scheduled for this Project. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter into such contracts as it deems to be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for 60 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened.
