Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**The project has been awarded to Gomes Construction Inc. in the amount of $49,991.58. Contract will satrt on August 1st, 2021 to September 1st, 2021.** The Town of East Longmeadow invites sealed Bids for the proposed Maple Street Sidewalk Project. Sealed Bids shall be enclosed in an envelope, endorsed with the name and business address of the Bidder and marked as "Town of East Longmeadow, Maple Street Sidewalk Project." The work consists of the installation of 545 linear feet of Portland cement concrete sidewalk, including necessary ADA-compliant handicap ramps at specific locations and necessary grading, and right-of-way restoration. The work shall be substantially complete by August 1, 2021. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Checks for handling and mailing should be made payable to the Town of East Longmeadow. All bidders shall furnish with their bid a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond or certified /cashiers check in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, made payable to the Town of East Longmeadow. The Town of East Longmeadow reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bidding if it is in the public interest to do so. Unless otherwise approved, seeding shall be completed during the periods of April 1 to May 15, and August 15 to October 1.
