This project has been awarded to Pape and Sons Construction, Inc. in the amount of $ 2,018,002. This Contract provides for the installation of approximately 5,800 linear feet of Class 52 ductile iron water main in two (2) separate locations along Marine Drive in Bremerton, WA. Fire hydrants, blow-offs, services, and other appurtenances will also be replaced. The existing roadway as shown on the Plans between Rocky Point Road NW and Lower Marine Drive will be planed and overlaid with two (2) inches of HMA; the northern project site will be overlaid with two (2) inches of HMA and both sites will be restored upon completion : The Substantial Completion date is 100-calendar daysfollowing the Notice to Proceed. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond, payable to the City of Bremerton, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the Total Bid, including Washington State sales tax, identified at the time of submittal of the bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract. The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Performance Bond for 100 percent of the Contract Price.
