Renovation of a residential development in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The incumbent Video Safety system is a stand-alone, non-networked, legacy/unsupported Genetec technology. There is no requirement to maintain or upgrade these systems in this initiative, though doing so is likewise not prohibited. Upon being awarded a contract under this RFP, the approved firm will be provided similar maps for all sites and access to stakeholders who can convey functional requirements upon which the approved firm will base an RFP for Video Safety Services. The incumbent Access Control system is based on legacy/unsupported Honeywell hardware controlled by outdated WinPak software. Upon being awarded a contract under this RFP, the approved firm will be asked to document the location and type of existing control equipment and door strikes/keycard swipes and will be provided access to RHA stakeholders to interview in gathering that information, and to help the approved firm to gather Functional Requirements for a future RFP covering these services. There is no requirement to maintain or upgrade these systems in this initiative, though doing so is likewise not prohibited.
