Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Garland, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Construction of Rick Oden Park Phase 1B includes: erosion control, demo/earthwork, utilities, temporary fence, tree protection, vehicular paving, striping/signage, site concrete, infield mix, entry monument, pedestrian bridges, pavilions, prefab restroom building, Permatrak boardwalk, irrigation, landscape, fine grading, turf establishment, fencing, handrails/guardrails, masonry, site amenities and site signage. Dean Construction reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, to advertise for new proposals, or proceed to do the work by other means, when in the best interests of The City of Garland and Dean Construction. No bidder may withdraw its Proposal within ninety (90) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A bidder may bid on one (1) or more bid items on the same form. Each bid item must be bid complete with no alterations, and must be accompanied by a qualification statement that demonstrates the bidder having successfully completed three (3) similar projects in the past five (5) years. Appropriate instruction and bidder experience are described elsewhere in the bound contract manual. Any bids received after the 10:00 A.M. closing time will be returned unopened. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the Bid, Dean Construction and the City reserve the right to accept the most advantageous construction thereof to the City or to reject the bid.
