Native area invasive species mitigation including but not limited to selective mowing and herbicide applications. Bidder shall quote materials and services per the following specifications and details and those included as part of the plans prepared by the St. Charles Park District which are to be understood as minimum standards for Williams Wetland Invasive Species Mitigation Project. Site Location: Latitude 41.934531548366, Longitude - 88.295155860615, in the vicinity of 1598 Keim Ct., St. Charles, IL 60175. Any additions, deletions, or variations must be approved equal. Within the defined area as noted on the site map, conduct a mowing of old Phragmites australis growth followed by applications of Rodeo or another glyphosate that is rated for aquatic use to target an area populated by Pragmites australis as well as present cattails and reeed canary grass. Application will result in an all-kill for vegetation in the specified treatment area of approximately 20,000 square feet. Application work will involve an initial and follow up applications to be conducted under conditions favorable per manufacturer's guidelines for effective application and should be conducted during favorable conditions between July 12 and October 1, 2021. Please Quote each aspect of the project separately. 1. Mowing of old growth of Phragmites australis 2. Initial application of herbicide to roughly 20,0000 square feet of area 3. Follow up application of herbicide to roughly 20,000 square feet of area to achieve an all-kill treatment of the project area. The Bidder shall make statement of work completion time on the Bid Proposal Form. Due to mandatory grant requirements, all work must be completed no later than October 1st, 2021.
