The St. Charles Park District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals which, in its judgment, will be to the best interest of the public. Only bids in compliance with the provisions of the specifications will be considered Bid Description (Base Bid): The proposed work consists of the Baker Field Park Improvement services. The base bid consists of a lump sum for the removal of existing concrete pads, sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, demolition of baseball field and appurtenances, and the installation of new ADA ramps, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, ICON Shelter, as well as miscellaneous site furnishings shown on plans and details section of contract documents. Contractor to renovate (2) Tennis Courts located within Baker Field Park. Fencing to be removed, stored, and reinstalled as needed for entry of construction equipment. Contractor shall provide and install crack sealant in Tennis Courts. Tennis Court posts, concrete post base, netting, and associated hardware to be removed and replaced with new equipment. Entirety of Tennis Court pavement within fenced area to be resurfaced with acrylic primer once crack repairs are made. Install new court striping to replace existing conditions striping. Proposed basketball court to be installed, surfaced with acrylic primer, and receive new court striping.
