This project generally consists of but not limited to: All materials, labor, and programming necessary to install a two new boilers and heat exchangers and associated pumps and piping for pool water heating in the existing filter building at Otter Cove Aquatic Park Pool. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide the entire scope of work within all divisions of the Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. The installation of two new boilers and two new heat exchangers (one set for the Lazy River and one set for the Activity Pool) and associated water piping, gas piping, boiler venting, pumps and controls. The reconnection to the existing pool water piping as well as all electrical work and controls required for a complete and operational system. Where it becomes necessary for the Mechanical Contractor, in order to fulfill this Contract, to furnish labor or materials other than that which is generally accepted by the trade agreement of general practice to belong to the particular trade or branches of work that Contractor shall sublet same to Subcontractor engaged in the type of work involved to the end that there will be not stoppage of work due to violation of trade agreements as to jurisdiction. All Subcontractors shall be required to show proof of insurance.
