Renovation of a municipal facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
City Of Scranton City Hall South Tower Restoration Project For Licensed General Contractor (Roofing And Masonry Restoration) Each bidder shall enclose bid security with their bids in the form of an acceptable bid bond, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, or a certified check in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest, most responsible bidder; however, the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of any bid. Bidders are invited to have a representative present at the bid opening. Envelopes containing bids shall be plainly marked outside "City Hall South Tower Restoration" and delivered or mailed to the Office of the City Controller, City Hall, 2nd floor, 340 North Washington Avenue, Scranton, Pennsylvania 18503, so as to be received at the office by the time first specified above. Proposers are responsible for submitting their bids to the appropriate locations at or prior to the time indicated in the specifications. Delay in the mail delivery is not an exception to the receipt of bids. The City of Scranton requires six (6) copes of all bidding documents.
