In general, the work consists of the installation of rooftop DX condensing units and necessary structural supports onindividualbuildings andthe installationof DX cooling coils withinthe existing airhandling units serving Buildings "N", "P", and the gym of "C". The existing electrical power supply will be modified to provide power to the new DX condensing units. All new equipment to be controlled by a direct digital control (DDC) system. Each of the modified air handling system will be converted from constant volume to a variable air volume (VAV) type system, with a VAV damper terminal installed at each existing reheat coil, replacement of the existing variable frequency drives, and updated temperature controls. No deposit is required to obtain documents for bidding purposes. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The successful mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection Bidder must agree to commence the work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" issued by the General Prime Contractor and to fully complete all the work within 300 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Completion time will be converted to a specific date at the time the "Notice to Proceed" is issued.
