Entities to complete and submit the RFP documents and other information referenced within the documents. The project is composed of Make-Ready work, road realignment, an 1,800 stall Parking Structure, 50 stalls of below grade parking under First Ave. (Spine), an Outpatient Pavilion, demolition of the existing Bachman Parking Structure, and a Central Utility Plant (CUP). It is anticipated that this project will contain multiple components with phased plan reviews for various phases of the project, as well as various entities and agencies requiring review and permitting. Outpatient Pavilion (OPP) The 254,000 sf Outpatient Pavilion (OPP) will be designed and constructed as an OSHPD 3- compliant outpatient and clinic facility licensed pursuant to the Health and Safety Code Sections 1200 and 1250. This proposed outpatient and clinic facility will provide services and programs to support the Hillcrest Campus UC San Diego Health System. This facility will serve as a platform to improve outpatient care delivery at UCSD by housing disease-specific centers, including Cancer Care, and consolidating all outpatient, ancillary, professional and support services needed to treat specified conditions. 1,800 Stall Parking Structure The Project will include the design of an 1,800 stall Parking Structure. The structure will be approximately 3 levels below grade and 7 levels above grade. 50 Stall Below-Grade Parking Structure with First Ave. Roadway Above (Spine) The Project will include the improvement and further development of an existing roadway, to create a new road (First Ave.) with 50 below-grade parking stalls and two levels of drop off for the OPP. Make-Ready Work & Road Improvements The Project will include the realignment of Bachman Drive, and the widening of Arbor Drive. Utility infrastructure improvements and relocations will be included, along with safe-off and demolition of various buildings within the project boundaries. Demolition of Bachman Parking Structure & Central Utility Plant (CUP) The Project will include the demolition of the existing Bachman Parking Structure to make room for a new 2-story CUP (non-OSHPD). The CUP will serve the OPP, as well as a future Research Building. Project duration is 912 calendar days. The University has bid and awarded a CM at Risk Contract to DPR Construction (hereafter "CM/Contractor"). CM/Contractor is responsible for bidding and awarding all subsequent subcontractor packages, including these packages.
