Requests for clarification are due Wednesday, June 23, 2021 12:00:00 AM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. The project consists of and includes all materials, equipment and labor necessary to furnish and install the work associated with the following Lots as shown on the Drawings and noted in the Specifications: Lot 1 - Spring Creek 1 Trunk Replacement - 60 LF of 6-inch laterals, 750 LF of 8, 10 and 18-inch PVC and 300 LF of 14-inch DIP (epoxy lined) gravity sewer, pipe bursting 460 LF of existing pipe with 12-inch PE, 8 manholes and other miscellaneous work. Lot 2 - Spring Creek Mini-Basin SC-2B Trunk Replacement - 10 LF of 8-inch PVC and 1,020 lineal feet of 12-inch PVC gravity sewer, 4 manholes and other miscellaneous work. Lot 3 - Beaver Creek Meter Chamber - modifying an existing 9' by 17' concrete structure at grade by constructing concrete walls and a top slab to raise the elevation of the structure by approximately 4.7 feet, relocating the electrical components from their current location to within a new precast concrete building to be located on top of the new raised structure. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with the provisions in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Proposal must be complete and the right is reserved to reject any and all Proposals and to accept any Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP. LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP is an equal opportunity employer. Successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within fifteen (15) days of receiving a Notice of Award letter. Bidders can utilize the PennBid Program without any initial or recurring costs. A fee 0.33% of the total work awarded, capped at $5,000, is assessed only to the bidder who is awarded the project.
