Site work for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the construction of one (1) precast, prestressed concrete ground storage tank; two (2) hydropneumatic tanks; three (3) horizontal booster pumps including VFDs and motors; natural gas generator; a new CMU control building; disinfection and corrosion control systems; all related piping; foundations; electrical including service; instrumentation; drainage; on-site detention; site work and all additional items shown on the construction plans or needed for the completely functional water plant. All questions shall be submitted electronically. Questions will not be considered after 11:00 a.m., three (3) calendar days prior to bidding. The person executing a Performance and Payment Bond must be licensed as a Texas Local Recording Agent through the State Board of Insurance or may be a person (including a non-resident of Texas) holding a General Lines license registered with the State Board of Insurance. Bidder shall fill in the blank on the bid form for the number of calendar days for the substantial completion period of performance from date of Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be achieved within 30 calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if evidence submitted by or investigation of the bidder indicate that the bidder is not properly qualified in the opinion of the Owner, to complete the work satisfactorily.
