**As of Aug 13, 2021, the project awarded to H.J. Pertzborn Plumbing & Fire Protection for $127,238. Notice to proceed 7/26/2021. In general, the work consists of: Providing a manual standpipe system for the CAC Building and Delzell Hall. Fire Protection: The lower level of Delzell Hall will be retrofitted with a complete code compliant fire sprinkler system. Communication Arts Center (CAC) and Delzell Hall will be retrofitted with a code compliant NFPA 14 compliant standpipe system. Electrical: Provide necessary fire alarm/electrical design for above referenced building fire protection modifications. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017.
