Montrose County is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals for permitting, hazardous materials abatement, demolition and site reclamation of the Montrose County Health & Human Services (HHS) Questions on this RFP must be submitted in writing as indicated below no later than 2:00 PM MST on June 22, 2021. In 2020, the County contracted with Empirical Environmental to perform an Asbestos Demolition Survey which has been provided as Exhibit A. The Contractor assumesresponsibility for any further materialstesting required to satisfy any and all agencies or approval authorities having jurisdiction and shall include all associated costs of testing, permitting and abatement in their proposal. The second phase shall include demolition of the existing structure after hazardous materials have been abated. This phase shall include but not be limited to the termination of all site utilities, the demolition and appropriate disposal of the structure, the removal and disposal of the septic system located to the East of the building, removal and disposal of all landscaping (EXCEPT for mature trees not impeding the building demolition process) and any other land/site improvements necessary to leave the site in a condition suitable for future site development. Disposal of project debris shall comply with all current codes and standards.
