Renovation of a mixed-use development in Streamwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Addendum 1 has been issued for this project. For details on how to obtain a copy, please contact the owner. A Bid Security of 10% of the Base Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The Park District reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a bid and reject the remainder. The Park District will award the Contract to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, as determined by it. In considering the Bidder's responsibility, the Park District may evaluate, among other factors, the ability of the Bidder to provide experienced labor sufficient in numbers to timely and properly complete the work, the financial capability of the Bidder, the performance of the Bidder on other projects, and whether the Bidder is debarred by the Illinois Department of Labor from performing public works projects in Illinois. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: replacing the existing pool RTU and relocating the new unit to grade level with new concrete equipment pads, concrete curbs and sidewalks, perimeter chain link fencing with gates, and masonry work for new wall penetrations and structural reinforcing. Refer to the Project Manual Specifications and Drawings for the full extent of the Work that will be required.
