Renovation of a fire / police facility in Streamwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,003-square-foot fire / police facility.
32 - 900 The Village of Streamwood hereby invites high speed overhead insulated coiling door bidders to bid for construction and renovation services required for replace the existing overhead door with a high speed overhead insulated coiling door at the existing police station garage. All bidders must be able to demonstrate they have successfully completed government work during the last 5 years in order to bid. The ability of a bidder to provide a Bid and Performance and Material Payment Bonds shall not be the sole determination of Bidder's qualification to bid. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this project. All laborers, workers and mechanics engaged in the construction and renovation of existing police station shall be paid no less than applicable Prevailing Wage Rates. Bidders shall minimally provide insurance coverage per the Village of Streamwood's requirements. The Village of Streamwood reserves the right to reject any and all bids, including any alternates considered, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept any proposal that the Village Board of Trustees deems most favorable for the best interest of the Village. A walk-thru for both Fire Station 32 and Police Station is scheduled by an Addendum notification. Bidders not able to make walk thru date are to note site visit date on proposal
