Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Flora, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project generally consists of pulling the deck, replacing the substructure and putting the existing deck back in place. Questions regarding plans and specifications should be sent to Tim Bryan, P.E. with the Madison County Engineer's Office at tim.bryan@madison-co.com or 601-790-2520. Failure or inability of the Bidder to comply with all applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations, including but not limited to having all necessary licenses and being qualified to do business in the state of Mississippi. Liquidated damages shall be as assessed per the Agreement in these specifications in the amount of $360 per day. The contractor agrees to commence work required by the Contract Documents within ten (10) days after the date of the Notice to Proceed and will complete the work within 60 Calendar Days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work with the Successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids.
