This project includes the construction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 8-inch water main along US Highway 50 in Dayton, Nevada. The water main work includes removal and disposal of an existing 6-inch water main (asbestos cement) within the same alignment as the new water main; new fire hydrant assemblies, air release valve, and water meters; removal and replacement of concrete curbing, gutters, and sidewalks; and NDOT pavement restoration. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Costs of the project is between $900,000 and $1,000,000.
