Scope of Services Valley Water requires experienced, and qualified engineering firm will be tasked to develop a 30-year Capital Improvement Program for Valley Water’s Distribution System (DS) that includes a suite of recommended capital improvement projects and an implementation plan. The implementation plan will categorize and prioritize the short-term and long-term capital improvement projects needed to repair, replace, and/or upgrade Valley Water’s DS infrastructure. Additional information regarding this project is available at: https://www.valleywater.org/project-updates/water-supply-infrastructure-implementation-projects Other Details Minimum Qualifications: • The Proposer’s key staff shall have 10 years of experience in developing large scale, comprehensive transmission system master planning, design, and environmental documentation. • The Proposer shall have the following certifications, licenses or affiliations State of CA licensed Professional Civil Engineer, Professional Mechanical Engineer, Professional Electrical Engineer and Professional Control Systems Engineer. • The Proposer shall possess knowledge of regulations and codes regarding large diameter pipeline design and engineering, pumping plant design and engineering, and environmental documentation and shall be familiar with local conditions relating to distribution system facility (e.g. pipelines, pumping plants, canals, wells) design, asset management, construction, operations and maintenance in Santa Clara County. • The Proposer shall have 10 years of experience performing structural engineering and analysis of Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipes and large diameter steel pipe. • The Proposer shall have experience using InfoWater hydraulic modeling software.
