Renovation of a municipal facility in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
City of Eagle River, is accepting bids for removal and replacing the weather proofing membrane and removal and replacement of shingles on sloped roof faces of the Eagle River City Hall. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder pending background check. The bid shall contain list of subcontractors and description of work class to be performed by each. e. Construction Documents and Specifications will be provided in electronic format via e-mail. It will be the bidder's responsibility to get documents printed to scale as required for biding purposes. City of Eagle is a not-for-profit organization and holds a Wisconsin Certificate of Exempt Status (CES) number. As of January 2016, building materials that become part of a qualifying nonprofit facility, provides an exemption from sales and use tax sold to a contractor. City of Eagle River expects to have the contractor purchase materials while being able to take advantage of their tax-exempt status. See General Conditions for more detail. Award will be made on July 13, 2021, at the meeting of Eagle River City Council. Submittal of Certificate of Insurance by Contractor to be provided with bid. City of Eagle River reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
