The Vilas County Highway Department is accepting quotes for the 2024 Beaver Removal Program. SPECIFICATIONS FOR BEAVER REMOVAL 1) Be able to remove beaver in an efficient and lawful manner. 2) Be able to remove beaver dams by hand or with equipment supplied by bidder. 3) Be able to respond to all County and State roads within Vilas County and respond to all participating Township roads within Vilas County. 4) Provide the following proof of insurance: a) Workers Compensation o Coverage A: Limits - Statutory o Coverage B: Employers Liability Limits - Statutory o Bodily injury by accident - $100,000 each accident minimum o Bodily injury by disease - $100,000 each employee minimum o Bodily injury by disease - $500,000 policy limit minimum b) Comprehensive General Liability Limits: $1,000,000 bodily injury and $1,000,000 property damage. c) Automobile Liability Insurance, with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 for each person and $1,000,000 for each accident. d) Professional Liability Insurance, with a liability of $1,000,000 annual aggregate. 5) Be able to respond 7 days a week. 6) Bid must be received in a sealed envelope marked "Beaver Removal".
