Renovation of a municipal facility in Groton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of August 25, 2021 this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on August 26, 2021.** This project consists of exterior painting of roof trim located at Groton Town Hall at 45 Fort Hill Road. The contractor shall prepare and paint all roof trim (fascia, soffits, trim and architectural wood work) as shown on the plans. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the form of bid bond or certified check subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids. BIDDER must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed from the OWNER and to fully complete the project within 30 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $200.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in the GENERAL CONDITIONS
