The Town of Groton Public Works Dept. is soliciting qualifications and proposals from firms experienced in conducting landfill gas wellfield monitoring, gas flare maintenance, and conducting operational status reviews. The site is the Flanders Road Closed Landfill ("the Flanders Flare"), located at 685 Flanders Road, Groton The contract service period is July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024. This Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/RFP) provides specifications and requirements for prospective, qualified firms to prepare a response and submit a fee proposal with itemized cost estimates for services. The Deadline for questions concerning this RFQ/RFP is Wednesday, March 30, 2022. The Public Works Department will not respond to questions received after this deadline. The Department expressly reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive formalities. The Department expressly reserves the right to require more definitive, alternative, or different proposal terms with one or more of the respondents who submit proposals. The Town of Groton reserves the right to modify or change the requirements at any time if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
