The Work for which Bids are asked includes the following work: installation of new submersible pump and pump components in existing wet well, pavement removal, construction of new 8" force main, abandonment of existing 2" force main, and connection of pump to existing control panel, pavement installation, and site restoration. There is an alternate bid for all work in base bid plus replacement of existing wet well and installation of a new, 12' deep structure. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security.
