Project no- 2018-050A01.BG00001 The City of San Antonio and Town of St. Leo are accepting proposals from qualified contractors to award a paving construction and maintenance contract for Pompanic Street. Written questions may be submitted to the City for possible response until the close of business TUESDAY, JANUARY 11TH 2021. Description of bid services: The Municipalities are seeking to award a paving
construction and maintenance contract for Pompanic Street. The scope of services will
include roadway paving construction as detailed in the Engineer's Specifications attached
hereto as Exhibit "H". Although a single construction phase is desired, the project may be
developed in two (2) phases as indicated on the attached plans. Please outline bids for
either scenario.
2. There shall be a set price for all construction activities.
3. All materials to be used shall meet the specified ASTM, AWWA, FAC and Florida
Building code established standards and requirements, or other standards provided in the
Engineer's Specifications.
4. All construction shall conform to the City's/Engineer's Specifications.
5. Contractor shall be responsible for any required OSHA requirements.
6. The contractor agrees that a work day shall consist of the 8AM to 5PM time frame on the
Official Bid form.
7. Contractor shall be licensed in the State of Florida.
8. Contractor must attend the pre-construction meeting set up by the City, and shall be
reasonably available for any other construction meetings the City's Engineering
consultant deems prudent Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools and transportation and perform all work
necessary for cutting, removing, protecting and replacing existing pavements of the
various types encountered, including driveways, sidewalks/walkways etc..
B. Protection Of Existing Improvements: Protect from damage all pavements,
sidewalks, driveways and other improvements that are to remain within the work
area. Repair all damage to such improvements, as a result of the Contractor's
operations, beyond the limits of the work of pavement replacement as described
herein, at no additional cost to the City
