Site work and paving for a civil project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. Final Completion: August 21, 2022 Anticipated Award Date: July 27, 2021 The Work generally consists of grading and placement of revetment along the Cedar River and access road maintenance. The location of the project is the Seminole Valley Park, Cedar Rapids, IA 52411. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for the Work is $880,000 The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for 45 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened.
