Question Deadline 07/26/2022 at 3:00 PM MT Project Description: The Parks and Recreation Department has asked for assistance with making a number of improvements to the Day Use Area as well as adding a new campground area at the Escalante Petrified Forest State Park. The base bid for this Project with include but not be limited to all of the labor, materials, and equipment as outlined in the plans and specifications. DFCM is entering into a Multi-Step Bidding Process for Construction Services. A short-listing of Contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. Short-listed Contractors will be invited to submit bids on the project. The only Contractors allowed to bid on this project will be Contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All Contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all of their Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. Parks and Recreation is seeking assistance with the Design and Construction Administration on the Design, Bid, Build, projects to create a new campground area and upgrade the existing Day Use area at the Escalante Petrified Forest State Park. The Design and Construction Administration will be handled under one design Firm for both Projects. However, due to the funding structure the Projects cannot be combined into one and will need to be handled as two separate Projects.
