** This project has been awarded to HCON Incorporated in the amount of $344,590. ** The major items of work include decommissioning an existing storm drainage pond by installing 288 linear feet of 12-inch storm drainage force main and 4,255 tons of backfill material. The proposed bid range for the project is from $300,000 to $400,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 35 working days. This project is completely funded with City of Auburn monies. AIl bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or proposal bond (surety bend) in an amount equal to Five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the City of Auburn. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
