The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire services and supplies or equipment complying with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions. [01-1005-1]. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish multiple sources of supply for roofing maintenance and minor roofing repair service. The Contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, parts, accessories, assemblies, and/or components, in accordance with this solicitation. The District has determined and set maximum labor rates, and maximum % markups on material they will agree to pay for the services The established rates and maximum markups allowed are listed within each line item as provided in the bid schedule. Offeror's are encouraged to submit their "best price" or discount for these services in the appropriate section of the bid schedule. Offerors who are both responsive and responsible will be placed on a qualified provider list (QPL) to be utilized by HCS as needed throughout the contract period. The failure of a specific provider to receive business shall not be grounds for a contract controversy under Section 11-35-4230 of the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code.and/or components, in accordance with this solicitation.
