2-Step IFB 156638 Liquid Anti Icing/Snow Removal Service NoVA Interstate Maintenance Express Lanes and Arlington Primaries in Arlington County Location Where Work Will Be Performed: Lot 1 - Interstate I-95/395 HOV/Express Lanes from Mile Marker 9.8 [DC Line] to Mile Marker 143[In Stafford County], I-495 [Beltway] Express Lanes from Mile Marker 54.8 to Mile Marker 44.8 to include all ramps, shoulders, collector roads. Lot 2 - Primary routes within Arlington County. Each Lot will be awarded separately. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be a certified check, cash escrow or a bid bond payable to the Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The sureties of all bonds shall be of such Surety Company or companies as are approved by the State and are authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Such bid bond or check shall be submitted with the understanding that it shall guarantee that the bidder will not withdraw such bid during the period of 60 days following the opening of bids; that if such bid is accepted, the bidder will accept and perform under the terms of the Invitation for Bids and purchase order or contract. The bid guarantee will be returned upon award of contract. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
