A Bid Bond is required, it MUST be submitted with the bid. The project will consist of the complete removal of all buildings on the campus located at 3400 South 3450 West, West Valley City, Utah. Removal shall include all building/structures, capping of existing utilities, preserving the exiting functionality of water valves and piping so irrigation can stay live on the fields (see attachment on U3P), removal of footings and foundations, and disposal of all building elements at an approved landfill. Any demolished building locations will be filled with engineered materials and properly compacted. Bid Attachments: The existing building plans are attached to this bid posting. The asbestos manifest books will be made available to interested contractors. In addition, NESHAP Reports have been provided as part of this bid and should serve as the basis of understanding for asbestos abatement for the project (see Exhibits 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d). GSD is entering into this multiple stage bidding process for demolition contractors for the complete abatement and demolition of all buildings at West Lake Junior High School. Stage I will involve the pre-qualification (unpriced technical offers) of contractors based on the criteria outlined in this document. During Stage II, pre-qualified contractors will be invited to submit price bids. Final contractor selection will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid as submitted in Stage II.
