Renovation of a water / sewer project in West Valley City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) process is to enter a contract with a qualified contractor to obtain licensed and insured generator removal and installation services and related electrical work for the District. The work to be performed consists of obtaining permits, mobilization/demobilization, furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents for the GHID Well No. 15 Generator Replacement Project. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Well No. 15 site. Date and Locations are in the Contract Documents. Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Aug 27th 2025, 5:00 PM MDT The location of the Work is as indicated on the Drawings. 1. The Work will be performed at the Granger-Hunter Improvement District Well No. 15 site, 2355 S 2300 W, West Valley City, Utah. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the facilities and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Obtaining all permits. 2. Project supervision. 3. Mobilization/Demobilization. 4. Removing and disposing of existing 500kW emergency power generator, generator pad, and manual transfer switch. 5. Installation of new 500kW emergency power generator, generator pad, and automatic transfer switch. 6. Replacement of existing site lighting. A project milestone deadline of installing the new generator is December 31, 2025. It is anticipated that the specified generator is in stock and available for delivery. If the automatic transfer switch (ATS) cannot be installed by December 31, 2025 due to component lead time, then the ATS installation and generator testing shall be substantially complete by April 15, 2026 and final completion by April 30, 2026. All requests for interpretation of the Contract Documents shall be made in writing and delivered to the ENGINEER no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to opening of Bids. In the ENGINEER's discretion, ENGINEER will send the written interpretation to all persons receiving a set of Bid Documents in the form of an Addendum. If the ENGINEER does not respond to a Bidder's request for interpretation the Bidder shall comply with the intent and terms of the Contract Documents.
