The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) process is to enter a contract with a qualified contractor ("Vendor") to obtain licensed and insured dry well and wet well painting and lining services and minor electrical work for the District. The work to be performed consists of obtaining permits, mobilization/demobilization, furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents for the GHID East Rec Lift Station Dry Well and the Decker North Lift Station Wet Well. The location of the Work is as indicated on the Drawings. 1. The Work will be performed at two existing wastewater pump station sites: East Rec, 1360 W 3100 South, West Valley City, Utah and Decker North, approximately 2620 Decker Lake Blvd, West Valley City, Utah. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the facilities and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Obtaining all permits. 2. Project supervision. 3. Mobilization/Demobilization. 4. East Rec: Surface preparation and painting of numerous corroded surfaces inside and outside of pump station. 5. Decker North: bypass pumping, wet well spray-on liner, wet well exhaust fan, exhaust fan electrical provisions, Ultrasonic transducer and float switch replacement, and wet well combustible gas detection system. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to delete certain items listed in the bid as set forth therein. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and award of the Construction Contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bids shall be on a Unit price or lump sum basis. Bids shall be evaluated as defined on the Bid Form and Schedule. Unsealed or segregated Bids will not be accepted. The Work will be Substantially Completed by December 31, 2025 and Finally Completed by January 15, 2026 after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the OWNER.
