Site work and new construction of a civil project in Walton, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: General construction including modifications to existing leachate management systems and construction of a new 2.8-acre landfill including leachate collection system, pump stations, HDPE piping, manholes, stormwater management practices, and related work. The new landfill is adjacent to an existing closed cell and requires the excavation and relocation of municipal solid waste from the existing closed cell to an operating landfill cell on-site. DPW awarded a contract to NELCORP Electrical Contracting Corp. for related Electrical Construction including decommissioning, demolition and removal of existing overhead electrical, and re-routing overhead electrical to service both existing features and proposed features. The Project has an expected duration of 300 days. Questions shall be submitted in writing to David Wright, at David.Wright@ghd.com and copied to Brad Smith at bradford.smith@ghd.com. The subject heading for all e-mails shall be: Subject: DELCO - Cell 4S Landfill Expansion General Construction SW4-21 No response may be given to questions received less than eight calendar days before the Bid opening date. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
