Renovation of a residential development in Walton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

OPWDD is looking for a vendor to paint all the interiors rooms in an OPWDD owned and operated house located in Walton NY. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and attached Broome Painting Standards. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the interior painting and before removal of equipment and scaffolding, the vendor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent or designee. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: -Vendor shall prep all paintable walls and ceilings in the home for painting. This shall entail making all walls and ceilings smooth in accordance with attached painting standards. -Vendor to paint all paintable ceilings, walls, and trim at the Farm to Market house. Drawings of the interior are attached to this scope but spaces to be painted shall be verified at mandatory site visit. Painting shall be done according to the attached painting standards. -Wallpaper borders shall be removed throughout the entire house. -All furniture movements, taking down of wall hangings, removal of electrical plates, and other like work needed to paint walls shall be the responsibility of vendor. Vendor must return all moved items to the state they were in before by the end of every workday unless approval to do otherwise is granted by House Director. -At the end of each workday, the vendor shall clean the work site in accordance with the painting standards. -Vendor shall guarantee painted surfaces for one month after completion of work from bubbling or flaking unless vendor can prove that such bubbling or flaking occurred due to water infiltration that occurred after surface was painted. -Paint colors for the rooms will be given to the winning bidder in writing.
